The journey of Domus North began far before its official launch, rooted in the curiosity and ambition of its founder, Giuseppe. An Italian architect who relocated to Canada, Giuseppe has always sought ways to bridge the gap between architectural expertise and the wider construction community.
His first venture, SAEDcom, was born in Italy during the challenges of the 2020 pandemic. While still completing his university studies, Giuseppe launched the platform as a "test" to see if he could provide genuine value to the building industry. The results were immediate and remarkable: within just six months, the site attracted 4,000 monthly users and sparked collaborations across Italy, even garnering attention from national magazines.
Though SAEDcom was eventually closed to allow Giuseppe to focus on his graduation and move to North America and refine his vision, the mission remained. On December 25, 2025, that vision was reborn under a new name.
On January 5, 2026, Domus North officially went live. With the same dedication to helping the construction community that started five years ago, Domus North combines Italian design heritage with a modern North American perspective.
